how do i switch my default Reelboard?
You can change it in two clicks on the web UI or send a quick DM command. Fast, simple, done.
are my Reelboards private?
Yep! Right now, only you and your participants can see them. Public Reelboards are coming soon.
what happens to my videos after i send them?
We only use the link to display your reel on Reelboards. The content stays on Instagram — we don't store or own it.
using a website every time is annoying, can you make an app?
Our native app is coming later this year and will make it easier to access Reelboards. Plus, you'll be able to pick a Reelboard right from your phone's share menu.
what happens if my insta gets banned?
If you're only sharing public videos, your content is safe and sound. But if some videos came from your account, you'll need to recover it with Meta — we can't retrieve blocked content.
what if a reel won't load / is unavailable?
We have automatic checks to hide broken videos, so votes won't count. If something slips through, you can "Pop Broken Reel" (if it's yours) or "Report Broken" (if someone else submitted it) with one click.
does Reelin work with businesses?
Not yet, but we're working on tools for brands and creators that are coming in late 2025.
will i get banned for using Reelin?
Nope! Sending videos to a public account like ours is nothing suspicious, naturally. It's us who should be worried 😶. We're trying our best to comply with Meta policies, but if we're ever forced to make a new account, don't worry — you'll be the first to know.
